Description

Painting created in collaboration with François-Xavier VAUDELEAU, painter

This artwork was inspired by François Boucher’s portrait of Madame de Pompadour, favourite of King Louis XV of France. At the time, she was one of the most beautiful and flamboyant women at the French court. Here, we’re taking a step back by dressing her in a sexy, tight-fitting dress for Fashion Week, while retaining her historic, eccentric hairstyle.

Technique: Acrylic paint
Support : Cotton canvas pannel
Size : 24.01 in x 28.74 in (61 x 73 cm)
