Description

In this painting, I sought to capture the spirit of the landscape by combining minimalism and semi-abstraction.

Sand and marble powder are applied as the first layer to create a soft, luminous texture. Acrylic paint is then glided over this surface to highlight the relief and depth.

This work offers a refined vision of nature, both calm and contemporary, and exudes a peaceful presence that easily blends into any space.

I was inspired by a summer stroll around the Étangs de Hollande ponds in the Yvelines (78).
On the edge of these ponds stood the castle of King Louis XV of France. Today, you can see the remains.
The Étangs de Hollande are ponds that were created in the 17th century to supply the fountains of the Palace of Versailles, and have since become a nature reserve for many birds.
