During my childhood, I was fortunate enough to live near Auvers-sur-Oise, the birthplace of Impressionism. Immersed in the influences of Van Gogh, Pissarro, and others, my interest in art was born. A passionate autodidact, I developed my practice alongside an in-depth study of art history, painting techniques, and color theory. Painting became a language in its own right for me, a means of expressing emotion and weaving a silent poetry, open to everyone’s interpretation.

An obsession with colors developed over the course of my career, becoming the core of my approach and my true specialty. For more than seven years, I have been exploring chromatic nuances and harmonies, developing a unique style based on constant commitment and great freedom of experimentation.

My artwork revolves around two themes: abstract painting and semi-abstract landscapes. Abstraction does not impose itself: it invites us to feel and interpret freely. Semi-abstract landscapes, halfway between figuration and abstraction, invite contemplation. With their atmosphere and softness, they offer a sensitive refuge, a pause from a contemporary world saturated with stimuli.

The colors are composed and chosen with particular care, designed to create harmony. Some are applied in successive glazes to create depth and transparency, while others are applied with a spatula or knife to add texture, contrast, and energy. I also use elements such as sand or marble powder, which add a special texture and stimulate the sense of touch, thus enhancing the sensory aspect of the work. Each canvas is a space for research and exploration.

My inspiration comes from a variety of encounters and experiences—visual, human, or sensory—whether it be nature, music, a film, or an unexpected exchange.

Today, my work is recognized for its sensitive approach to color and its ability to evoke deep emotion. Whether in abstract compositions or semi-abstract landscapes, I always seek to convey emotions. What I paint takes on its full meaning in the freedom it offers the viewer: they are invited to take the time to contemplate, feel the work, and let their imagination run wild.
