“Olonne 2” is a contemporary abstract painting inspired by the seascapes of Les Sables d’Olonne. Created using acrylic paint, the work combines shades of blue, turquoise, beige, and green, with touches of pink, white, and ochre adding brightness to the composition.
The colors meet and overlap, creating a sense of fluid movement. Textures add dimension and enhance the painting’s depth, evoking the shifting coastal light, the breath of the wind, and the motion of the ocean.
Through this abstract composition, I sought to capture the sensations experienced when facing the sea. The piece evokes freedom, escape, and serenity, allowing viewers to project their own landscapes onto the canvas and let their imaginations wander.
