In this artwork, I sought to capture the essence of contrast and harmony. Using acrylic mixed with marble powder and sand, I created a living texture that invites contemplation. I was inspired by a visit to the town of Paestum in Italy on a particularly sunny and warm summer’s day. Paestum is an ancient Greek colony in southern Italy, in the Campania region.
