“Derivation” is a contemporary abstract painting in which geometric shapes, colours and textures interact in a free and spontaneous movement. The composition evokes a path that transforms as the work takes shape, guided by the energy of the painting.
Deep blues interact with luminous yellows and oranges, whilst touches of green and pink add rhythm to the whole. The colour contrasts bring dynamism, balance and depth to the composition.
Created using acrylic paint with sand and marble powder, this artwork features a rich texture that catches the light. The geometric shapes seem to shift and create new trajectories, leaving room for imagination and interpretation.
With “Derivation”, I wanted to explore the idea of free movement, where every shape and every colour naturally finds its place. This contemporary abstract painting brings energy, colour and character to a modern interior.
