“Farandole” is a contemporary abstract painting inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s sensitive approach to organic forms. Through this work, I sought to create a composition that is both minimalist and vibrant. The flowing curves evoke movement, unity and continuity.
Created using acrylic paint, sand and marble powder, the painting reveals subtle textures that lend depth and relief to the surface. The luminous colours — sunny yellow, blues and vibrant green — interact with one another to create a sense of positive energy and serenity.
This artwork invites the eye to wander freely amongst the shapes and colours. It evokes a silent dance, a balance between gentleness and vitality. It brings a warm and contemporary presence to any interior.
