“Renaissance” evokes the rebirth of nature and the return of light. I wanted to capture that moment when the landscape seems to awaken after a period of silence.
Through a semi-abstract approach, the forms remain implied, leaving room for the imagination. The earthy colours interact with touches of green and blue. They evoke emerging vegetation, water and the energy of life.
I worked with acrylics mixed with sand and marble powder. These materials create subtle textures and lend depth and relief to the composition.
The distant horizon opens up the space and invites the eye to wander. The soft light filtering through the landscape creates a soothing and contemplative atmosphere.
“Renaissance” is a celebration of change and hope. An invitation to observe the understated beauty of nature’s cycles and the perpetual renewal of life.
