“Tenderness” is a contemporary abstract painting. Through this work, I have sought to convey the tenderness and the bonds that unite us.
Shades of grey and pink dominate the composition. They create a soothing and delicate atmosphere. A few touches of yellow and blue brighten the whole and add a luminous quality.
I worked with acrylics, combining them with different materials to create a richly textured surface. The raised areas catch the light and give the work a presence that is both visual and tactile.
Abstraction leaves room for personal interpretation. Everyone can perceive in it a memory, an emotion or a relationship that is unique to them.
With “Tenderness”, I wanted to create a space of calm and contemplation. An invitation to slow down and pay attention to what connects us to others.
