“Hills” is a contemporary landscape painting inspired by natural landscapes.
The hills roll gently one after another beneath a sky of warm colours, creating a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere.
The shades of green, blue, ochre and pink evoke the changing light at dusk. The textures add depth and give the composition a sense of relief.
Created using acrylic paint, sand and marble powder, this work plays on texture and colour to capture the beauty of a landscape in motion. The forms are deliberately simplified to leave room for the imagination and emotion.
