‘In Weightlessness’ is a semi abstract landscape painting inspired by Romanticism, in which the imagination takes precedence over reality. This work evokes a moment when time slows down and the mind is freed from all constraints.
A deep, enveloping sky seems to float outside of time, whilst a flat, barren landscape stretches out in absolute silence. The painting invites calm and contemplation.
The simplicity and harmony of the colours create a sense of suspension, as if the landscape were defying gravity and paving the way for an inner reverie. Standing before this painting, the gaze drifts whilst the body seems to grow lighter.
