“Wholeness” is a contemporary painting inspired by nature. This work invites contemplation and a sense of escape.

The eye is drawn to a clear horizon. The luminous sky unfolds in shades of blue, white and pink. A few touches of yellow add warmth to the light.

In the foreground, the texture becomes more pronounced. Greens, blues and yellows, along with touches of red and orange, blend together in a composition rich in texture. The landscape is built up through successive brushstrokes, straddling the line between abstraction and an evocation of nature.

Created using acrylics, sand and marble powder, this work plays on the contrasts between delicacy and texture. The materials lend depth and give the landscape an almost tactile quality.

With “Wholeness”, I sought to convey a sense of calm and openness. A landscape in which the eye can wander freely. An invitation to slow down and savour the moment to the full.

The edges are painted, allowing the artwork to be displayed without a frame.
