Landscapes / Semi-abstract landscapes

My semi-abstract landscapes arise from observing nature and the emotions it evokes. Rather than a faithful representation of a place, I seek to capture an atmosphere, a sensation or a memory.

Through colour, contrasts and composition, I explore the connections between the inner landscape and the outer landscape. Forms are simplified, details gradually fade away to make way for the essential: light, space and emotion.

Each work invites the viewer to make the landscape their own, to project their own sensibility onto it and, perhaps, to rediscover the echo of a memory or a personal emotion.
